What's With All the Weights

You've probably noticed the addition of resistance equipment to our Pilates repertoire. All you need to do is look around the studio to see that we literally have equipment hanging off the ceiling (TRX suspension training) an it seems like every other exercise the instructors are handing out weighted balls, free weights, resistance bands,medicine balls, etc. So...what's with all the weights?
