Olympics, Superheroes & Pilates

The Winter Olympics are in full swing. Olympic athletes from a wide variety of sports use Pilates to get into peak condition. 9-time Gold medalist Dorra Flores, gold medal Skiers Julia Mancuso, Hannah Kearney and Jennifer Heil, gold medal skater Tim Goebel, gold medal boxer Andre Ward and gold medal runner Sanya Richards all include Pialtes in their training programs.

And by the way if you want to get into shape to play a superhero in a movie or be a co-star you might want to kick up your Pilates training. For Iron Man Gwyneth Paltrow did extensive Pliates training as did Robert Dwoney Junior. Tom Cruise and Matt Damon incorporated Pilates into their workout routines in preparation for their roles in action adventure movies series like Mission Impossible and The Bourne Identity.

So if you want to look and feel like an Olympic athlete or a movie superhero keep doing Pilates.
